AT&T Expands 3G MicroCell Availability

AT&T has quietly expanded the availability of its currently on trial 3G Microcell outside of the North Carolina test market.
The basestation is now available in Georgia, South Carolina, San Diego and Las Vegas, as well as expanded areas of North Carolina. Pricing for the service will run $19.99 for unlimited use, $9.99 when bundled with an existing AT&T landline or internet service account and AT&T also allows for use without a dedicated MicroCell plan.
For current AT&T customers with wireless, local phone, and internet bundle in qualifying areas, there is no monthly charge for MicroCell service.
