Even though Palm is busy at work on the Pre, rumor has it that they are developing yet another smartphone, but this time for a different carrier. Sprint is not the most popular service out there so it makes sense for Palm wanting to pursuit another, more popular service. If the Centro replacement is to come to fruition, we can expect it to land on the AT&T network.

Engadget received a picture as well as a spec list of the purported Palm Eos. It will come with 4GB of storage, 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, MMS, audio and video playback, and should cost $349 without a rebate. As for screen size, it has a nice 2.63 inch screen, and is very thin, only 55mm thick. It will run on AT&T’s 3G network, so you shouldn’t experience too many delays when surfing the web.

As of now it is only a rumor, so it will be interesting to see if Palm or AT&T release any official statements on the device.
