A few main aspects of the Zune HD which were not known upon the announcement of the Zune HD is the pricing and availability. However, according to some Best Buy inventory screen shot leaks, it looks like the Zune HD is slated for a September 8th release.
The 16GB Zune HD model is set to sell for $230, while its counterpart, the 32GB model will sell for $290. These numbers appear to compete with the iPod Touch’s pricing, as Microsoft anticipates the iPod Touch will be the Zune HD’s main competition. IT will be interesting to see whether Best Buy or Microsoft come out with any official statements indicating whether these reports are in fact real or bogus.
