CES: Toshiba’s Booth

toshiba-boothToshiba had a few surprises at their CES booth this year. Featured at the show were modified Protege R600s running both Solaris… and WiMAX. They also demonstrated their Resolution+ laptop technology, using the same process found in Toshiba’s new DVD-for-HD upscaling players.

Finally, Toshiba also profiled many concept prototypes for their mini-MIDs (which they call Internet Viewers). These ranged from the iPod touch-ripoffs, all the way to the zany Network Stationary concepts. Read more below to see all of them in action.

And no, there weren’t any HD DVD players being showcased…
