eMachines Announces Several New Desktop Computers
Continuing with cheap, budget computers, eMachines recently announced three new desktop PCs that come with monitors, integrated speakers, and a matching keyboard. They claim each computer is great in the work place, college dorm, or for general home use. The three machines include the ET1300-02, the ET1810-03, and the ET1810-01. Here’s how they each compare to one another.
The ET1300-02 features an AMD Athlon X2 4850e Dual Core Processor, operates on Windows Vista Home Premium edition, has a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 512MB graphics card, 3GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB SATA hard drive, digital media card, 6 USB ports, and a 18.5 inch widescreen LCD screen which features integrated speakers. This computer will be on sale for $449.99.
Next up, we have the ET1810-03, which is pretty similar to the previous model in the sense that it operates on Windows Vista Home Premium, 3GB DDR2 RAM, and 6 USB ports. Otherwise, it runs on an Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor, 320GB SATA hard drive, and will sell for $369.99. This machine lacks the monitor, which is probably appealing to customers who have a spare monitor lying around.
The last PC by eMachines is the ET1810-01, which is the most basic version of the three computers. It runs on an Intel Celeron Processor, operates on Windows Vista Home Basic edition, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB SATA hard drive, 6 USB ports, and is on sale for $299.99. The 18.5 inch eMachine monitor can be purchased separately for $129.99.
