Monster Introduces New iPod/iPhone Accessories

Monster (the cable manufacturer, not the energy drink) who are known for their audio accessories have announced 7 new iPod and iPhone accessories today which enhance a user’s driving experience while using an iPod or iPhone.

The iCarPlay Wireless 1000 and 800 which go for $100 and $80 respectively act as FM transmitters boosted with AutoScan 3D technology which searches for free radio frequencies. They also provide audio outputs for cars that have audio inputs while charging your iPod through a USB wire charger.

Also in the iCar area comes the iCarCharger 1000 for $50 which charges your devices through a cars cigarette lighter, has an audio output line level audio to connect with a car’s stereo input and provides external buttons for extra controlability of the iPod or iPhone without having to use the devices buttons themselves while driving.

The other accessories include a $20 iCarPlay 800 cassette adapter which is the classic cassette method of playing an mp3 player except with an improved cassette head for better quality. It also has a digital display and multiple cable outlets for different cassette slots.

The iCable 800 and 1000 for $15 and $30 respectively are 1/8 inch miniplug cables that connect mp3 players to car stereo minijack inputs. The two cables come at 3 feet for the 800 and 7 feet for the 1000.

Lastly, the $20 iSplitter is a simple headphone jack splitter, except that each side and user has their own volume control so your mom can quietly and safely listen to her side while you can blast your side so you can rock out. This will save much time and scolding.
