One of the biggest gaming trade shows of the year, E3, is about to take place. Within the show, many new gadgets and devices are usually announced and launched. A couple days before this year’s E3, the new PSP GO images have been leaked on a PlayStation forum.

Let’s take a look at the information we can derive from the image and what it, essentially, means for PlayStation. Basically, it is a slider gaming console with 16GB of onboard memory that can be expanded via memory card. In addition, it should feature Bluetooth connectivity and will become available in the Fall. For now, a price hasn’t been leaked, but expect that to be announced during Sony’s Press Event at E3. For those of you who might purchase the PSP 3000 instead, then you will be happy to know that the PSP GO will not be replacing the 3000, instead they will both be sold at the same time.

Lastly, with the addition of 16GB of hard drive space, there are a lot of possibilities for the device. Expect music playback and video playback to be a given, but don’t rule out a digital game rental store.
