Where Ever You Go, There You Are, with the Magellan RoadMate 1475T

Getting to grandma’s house in the U.S., visiting Uncle Bob with the cheap prescriptions in Canada, or just chillin in Puerto Rico just got easier with the 4.7-inch Magellan RoadMate 1475T, the last of the RoadMate series. The 1475T includes all of the features of the 1470, plus a traffic-enabled device (VPA) that offers real-time traffic alerts, incidents, and road congestion reports. All this is subscription free, but ad-supported.

The OneTouch favorites menu is included in the 1475T as well as all other new models in the Magellan RoadMate series. It allows you to identify and store preferred locations such as banks, restaurants, and other places into the OneTouch favorites menu, where you can instantly find directions to the closest preferred destinations anywhere you go. There is also access to searchable AAA TourBook listings that include AAA Diamond-rated restaurants and lodgings, along with attractions, events and campgrounds You can also access listings for AAA-approved Auto Repair shops and businesses that offer AAA member discounts.

Some of the other features include Highway Lane Assist, which points you in the right direction and helps make sure you’re in the correct lane before your exit comes up. There’s also multi-destination routing with route optimization so you can plan trips with multiple stops in the order you want. It’s available now, for the MSRP of $299.
